This was my 5th visit. The menu was updated to include different items. I was looking forward to my lambchops with he mint and chorizo but I did my delmonico ribeye which was fantastic. We came to celebrate 3 birthdays for a ladies night. Excellent service from our waitress K.onlynone bad experience in my meal here otherwise I recommend for a dinner date or night out.
I ate here earlier this year, but I cannot find my review. This will make up for that error. Tonight was to celebrate my hubs birthday, and the experience was very good. Our server was Taylor. She was very attentive, but not overbearing, she appeared when needed. All 4 of us were pleased with her service. The server from our first visit was just as attentive and courteous. Brinkley's, keep treating your employees with respect and they will keep passing it onto the patrons. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice. One of my daughters who is visiting from OK, said we saved the best restaurant for last. Thank you Taylor for making this dinner special for his birthday.
Nice Atmosphere service was average. The food was good not great for the price. Would recommend
This is my second visit and I enjoyed it. From the valet service, to the deliciousness of our food, it was an exceptional experience. It was not jammed packed like it was during my first visit. This time it was well spaced to enjoy a private meal in an intimate setting. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the restaurant and what it had to offer. I was curious of the meatballs after seeing a picture of it online and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! My daughter and I were celebrating her 27th birthday and I wanted to give her an experience. Brinkley's didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant.
One of the most expensive meal options around, the steak, atmospheres and staff are worth the price. Skip the tiny tasteless desserts.
To dine here for a connoisseur of quality food is as a art lover to visit the Louvre in Paris. Although there is no admission fee here (but there is valet parking), I would gladly pay one if that were required. I will first mention that the setting, ambiance, and staff are the exemplification of excellence and anticipation. You have high hopes, and then you enter to see they are ten steps ahead of you. The table setting with the pristine wine glasses and fresh flowers beckon you to settle in for a few hours. This is not the kind of place you stop by en route to an event. This is the main event! My evening began with the 4 ounce Wagyu strip served raw and thinly sliced, accompanied by a 700 degree salt block. There is no wrong way to eat this, except overcooking the meat. At most, 5 seconds on both sides. But I recommend simply sliding it across the surface of the block for a few seconds then experiencing this ecstasy on a fork. The only other menu item I will mention here, as most I had were seasonal, is the 14 ounce prime ribeye. Of course you know the meat will be tender and the fat will be rendered, due to the natural marbling. But here's the pièce de résistance; it is marinated in duck fat...for 30 days! It is a rare occasion when I am unable to express what I am tasting and the emotions washing over me while eating. This is such an occasion. It is a moment (well, a few moments as I forced myself to savory each bite slowly) I have spoke of often and will not forget. As the saying goes "treat yourself" and visit here soon.
A little sad they no longer have tini Tuesday and wine down Wednesday on our recent visit bit we still enjoyed our meal. Our food came out quickly we got a lot of things to share. I think the sides are a good size for sharing. I love that they have bread pudding have different flavors that change all the time.
Rediscovering my hometown has been a pleasure, especially when dining at restaurants like Brinkley's Chop House. After moving back to the CSRA, I have been on a quest to find my favorite restaurants and Brinkley's has quickly made its way to the top of my list. I visited on Mother's Day weekend and despite it being a busy holiday, the service was efficient and friendly. It's good to note that the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming for solo diners or groups alike. We even had my nephew in tow. Thank you for having a high chair available for him. Now, let's talk about the food. My meal, the special Ora King Salmon, was truly exceptional. This was one of the special menu items. The chef's expertise in creating such a delicious dish deserves a standing ovation. If this dish becomes a regular on the menu, I will definitely be a frequent visitor. To address the concerns about the 3% charge, it is a common practice in upscale dining establishments in other cities. It is a small price to pay for the exceptional experience and quality of food at Brinkley's Chop House. Yes, they could just include it in the menu prices, but this is becoming the norm. So with all that being said, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try - you won't be disappointed! Additional kudos and notes: *Thanks to our server Kiara for taking great care of us. *Shoutout to the social media manager. I DMd the Instagram account to verify if the restaurant was kid friendly. I received an immediate response. Thank you! *Valet parking is available. There is also a parking garage. The first two hours of the parking garage are free. *The reusable takeout bags are a win! *Receipt posted to verify the 3% charge and not a flex. This was a modest bill for a family of 4 + toddler. My parents went last year and spent twice as much. I say that to say, plan accordingly.
